Notably, K-Dips is only available in 20mg sustained-released strength and will not be strong enough for many vets. A 50mg strength may be released in the future.
Whether you use Kratom for its many benefits or are a tobacco or nicotine user – this novel pouch delivers 20mg of Mitragynine (MIT) with custom flavors that disguise the alkaloid’s sharp taste.
The flavors alone are stimulating and last for about 20 to 30 minutes.
If you respond to 20mg “extended-release” MIT, you will feel “Fast Leaf” extract effects over about 2 hours. You can expect this product to have less “acute” effects than shots or other rapid-onset extracts.

How Do They Work?
K-Dips are super easy to use! Although inspired by traditional tobacco dip pouches, K-Dips are not used exactly the same way.
You don’t “spit” (not snuff).
Instead, you swallow the fluids (the contents of the pouch itself should not be swallowed/eaten).
Step #1: Pop one in your mouth and hold it in a spot that’s comfortable for you – recommended in between the lower lip and gum. Move the pouch around to get extract and flavor to release every so often.
Step #2: Leave it in place for about 30-45 minutes, or until you’ve achieved your desired effects. You should start feeling the effects within minutes.
Each can is equipped with a “storage container” on the top for you to reuse pouches if left in for less than 30min.
Step #3: Remove and dispose of the pouch.
Realistic Expectations (Full Disclosure – Especially for Kratom Vets)
As of March 2024, K-Dips come in 20mg strength.
We decided to launch with a more conservative strength pouch because this product will largely appeal to retail (e.g. convenience store) buyers as an alternative to other nicotine or tobacco-based pouches.
Many of these ‘newbie retail’ consumers have never tried Kratom and we didn’t want to overwhelm them with a high powered MIT Kratom extract. The first Kratom experience is so critical and we want it to be a safe and productive one for beginners.
For Kratom veterans, compared to other Kratom extract edibles, K-Dips will most likely “take the edge off” or serve as an on-the-go “maintenance” pouch. However, K-Dips (20mg) is unlikely to have a significant resonation as stronger extracts or a large serving of Kratom tea. We certainly feel Kratom vets will enjoy K-Dips (20mg) but expectations are key.
Also notable, you can expect K-Dips to provide a “sustained release” of MIT through a coconut fiber pouch casing. Unlike Kratom shots, K-Dips will more slowly absorb and effects will be more gradual and potentially last longer.
If 1 pouch does nothing for you, try 2 next time.
It’s not ideal to have 2 pouches in your mouth, but it’s simply a MIT strength vs. tolerance issue.
HIPPO BEGINNER TIP FOR EXTRACTS
Kratom extracts are much more potent than plain-leaf powder.
For beginners (new to extracts), we recommend leaving the pouch in your mouth no longer than 15-20 minutes to evaluate the effects.
You can hold the pouch in the storage compartment until you’re ready to reuse it. (Maximum 2-3 uses per pouch for beginners)
